September 2024 Chapter Meeting

Join us for our September 2024 Chapter Meeting for a unique and exciting discussion on Human Organizational Performance (HOP) at the Tesla Gigafactory in Austin, Texas on Thursday, September 26, 2024.

The event will consist of a 2-hour tour of the Gigafactory (headcount cap = 40 attendees) and a presentation by Tesla’s subject matter expert on HOP (headcount cap = 60 attendees). As part of Tesla’s Security protocol, the following will be required to attend the event:

• Legal names
• Individual email addresses
• Attendees must be over the age of 18
• The attendee list will be submitted to the Tesla event coordinator. Non-disclosure agreements (NDA) will be sent directly to the individual email addresses for review and signature. Anyone who does not sign the NDA will not be permitted to attend and will be notified.

Important Note: The first 40 attendees who sign up for this event will be accepted for the tour. A waitlist will be created and capped at 20 attendees for acceptance to the presentation.

All attendees who sign up successfully and are confirmed to sign the Tesla NDA will be sent instructions for arriving and parking at the facility.

FAQ for the Tour

IS THERE A DRESS CODE AT GFTX?

Giga Texas is a live factory! Please adhere to the dress code of long pants, sleeved shirts, and closed-toed shoes. No tank tops, heels, or sandals permitted. Appropriate PPE will be provided.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I PLAN TO ARRIVE AND WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes prior to your tour time. This is a large facility, and you should allot for extra time. Valid government-issued IDs are required to visit the site. Guests must adhere to the factory dress code in order to participate in the tour. Large personal bags are not permitted on the tour route.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

Currently, GFTX offers 45-minute to 60-minute tour experiences. This includes a combination of presentations and walking tours. The GFTX tour experience is an exclusive look at the largest Giga Factory in the world that is not yet open to the public. Note that some parts of this facility continue to be under construction. Appropriate PPE will be provided.

WHY DO I HAVE TO SIGN AN NDA?

Prior to arrival onsite, the visitor will receive an email from Tesla to electronically sign and accept the NDA. It is standard procedure for all persons to sign a non-disclosure agreement upon entering GFTX. Note that cell phone use during the tour and on Tesla property is strictly prohibited. No photos or videos allowed.

CAN I BRING EXTRA GUESTS TO MY TOUR?

Adding extra guests the day of arrival is not permitted.  Guests are only permitted onsite if they have been cleared in advance of arrival.

Please notify your Tesla point of contact or your tour guide upon arrival. We are happy to accommodate our guests!
